Peer removed pairing information

The error message “Peer removed pairing information” is typically caused by one of two things:

  • A Bluetooth password that was changed and not updated on the phone
  • A controller was connected via the phone’s Bluetooth settings instead of the app’s Bluetooth

To resolve this error:

  • Go into your phone’s Settings>Bluetooth
  • Look for your Gemstone controller
    • On iOS: tap the blue ⓘ icon and choose  ‘Forget This Device’
    • On Android: tap the gear icon next to the Bluetooth name, and choose “Unpair” or “Forget Device”
  • Go back into the Gemstone HUB app and try again
