1. Easter Bunny Theme

You can download our premade patterns for Easter lighting using the Gemstone Lights app. This simplifies everything, and you can even schedule your lighting patterns in advance to kick in during the Easter period.

However, the real fun of having permanent outdoor lights is that you can customize them to your heart’s content. For Easter, you can go for bright springtime colors or pastels or even create an Easter Bunny-themed lighting scheme for your track lights.

In the above example, the homeowner chose marshmallow-peep yellow and pink to celebrate Easter Sunday. It’s sweet and subtle and creates a nice glow that kids will particularly love.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Tap the folder in which you’d like to keep the pattern.
2. Tap ‘Create a Pattern’ to enter the pattern builder screen.
3. Select an animation. There are several to choose from. ‘Sway’ is an excellent choice, creating a soft flickering effect.
4. Choose a direction. You can pick which direction you want the colors to move in, depending on what you would like the best. You can always edit it later.
5. Choose your pattern colors. The new Gemstone Lights app allows you to pick a hex color: we recommend #FDFD96 (a pastel yellow) and #FFD1DC (a pastel pink). If you’re using the original app or don’t know the hex codes of the colors you want, you can choose your color from the slider until you find the perfect shade.
6. Adjust the brightness using the slider, depending on your preferences.
7. Tap the ‘Play’ button to preview the lights.
8. Use the speed slider to adjust the speed if you like.
9. Click ‘save,’ and your folder will appear in the folder you chose for it.

On darker nights, the particular colors of this one give your home an excellent lift. If you’re having a cold springtime, this will illuminate your outdoor space and cheer you up.

2. Tap ‘Create a Pattern’ to enter the pattern builder screen.
3. Select an animation. We think these colors look stunning when they’re still, so you can choose ‘Motionless’ to do this.
4. Choose your pattern colors. The Gemstone Lights app makes it easier to pick a hex color. We recommend #FFA500 (orange), #FF00FF (fascia), #40E0D0 (turquoise), and #FDFEFF (a bright white). If you’re using the original app, you can choose your color from the slider.
5. Adjust the brightness using the slider, depending on your preferences.
6. Tap the ‘Play’ button to preview the lights.
7. Click ‘save,’ and your folder will appear in your chosen folder.

3. Perfect Pastels

Pastels are beautiful for springtime and make for a lovely Easter glow.

3. Select an animation. We’d recommend either ‘Chase’ (where the colors chase each other) or ‘Sway’ (for a gentle flicker).
4. Choose your pattern colors. You can pick hex colors if you’re using the new Gemstone Lights app. We’d recommend #FFD1DC (pastel pink), #99C5C4 (pastel turquoise), and #FDFD96 (a nice lemon yellow). If you’re using the original app, choose the colors from the color picker until you find the shade you like.
5. Adjust the brightness using the slider, depending on what you prefer.
6. Click on the ‘Play’ button to preview the lights.
7. Use the speed slider if you want to play around with the speed.
8. Click ‘save,’ and your folder will appear in your chosen folder.

4. Light Up Your Outdoor Easter Decor

Don’t forget your flood lights! Flood lighting is excellent for casting a glow in a specific direction. Flood lights are the best accompaniment if you have some big outdoor Easter decorations—whether that’s an inflatable Easter bunny or a beautiful floral arrangement.
